Seeking a success-driven Senior Accountant that will provide coverage for key accounting functions and assist with miscellaneous projects:
Echo Lake has created new breakfast products for customers for decades, from breakfast entrees to main dishes. Products are used in school systems, hotels, healthcare and correctional facilities and restaurants.
Duties May Include:
Variance analysis, control and costing.
Sales / Use / Payroll Tax
Internal / Divisional reporting
Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and activities ensuring each account has proper documentation and complies with GAAP
Contribute to the year-end audit process.
Assistance with system enhancements and implementations
Mentoring of junior accountants
Backup for other senior accountants
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited program
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Inventory Experience is helpful but not required
Intermediate Excel skills
Accounts Receivable / Payables
Microsoft Dynamic GP experience preferred
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and have strong attention to detail
Must be able to problem solve, identify discrepancies and make recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Self-Driven, Organized, Analytical Minded, Fast-Leaner
