£34k - £37,977k per annum

Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm / Friday 8am-1pm

Based in Wrexham, an opportunity has arisen to join an established and internationally renowned manufacturing company on a permanent basis. You will join a very strong team with many years of experience to support you in handling company finances and keeping track of income and controlling its spending.

Performance Objectives

* Maintain product costing in the company ERP system by checking material masters, bills of material and moving average prices.

* Investigating material cost variances by analysing the company ERP system and liaising with Engineering and Production departments.

* Calculate and upload product overhead costs.

* Costing for new products and amendments to existing products using standard costing model.

* Preparing monthly sales and production reports.

* Expense analysis and reporting.

* Monthly inventory revaluation.

* Tracking and reconciling material movements and disposals.

* Preparing and submitting data to the Head Office reporting system.

* Supporting half yearly budget planning process.

* Processing and record keeping of expenditure approvals.

* Assisting with company stock taking, month end closing, audits, data requirement by National Statistics and Head Office.

* Supporting the team with month end financial reporting and holiday cover as required.

Person Specification

* Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and summarise data extracted from an ERP system.

* Proficiency in using ERP systems.

* AAT Level 2 with some experience.

* Experience of working to strict deadlines.

* Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information.

* Communicating financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

* High accuracy and attention to detail.

* Experience of manufacturing environment.

* Experience of international trade.

* AAT Level 3 or working towards.

* SAP experience would be advantageous.
