Global Payroll and Systems Manager

from £50,000 - £80,000 DOE

We are working with a global leader in sustainable telecom network solutions who's vision of being the world's local partner for sustainable telecom networks drives our commitment to the circular economy. The business is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK and Ireland and also operates EMEA and APAC regions.

Reporting to the Group HRD this role will be responsible for overseeing and managing payroll operations across multiple countries and regions. Your primary focus will be on reviewing, overseeing and implementing integrated solutions for payroll systems across the business, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, maintaining payroll data integrity, and coordinating with internal payroll teams, HR, Finance, IT departments and external vendors.
  • Review and manage the end-to-end Payroll platforms and systems and to customise payroll systems according to business needs, including smooth integration of any acquisitions.
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including payroll system vendors and service providers across various UK and non-UK operations.
  • Review and develop process improvement procedures and guidelines to ensure best practices are followed and to develop and document standard operating procedures.
  • Implement payroll system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations to improve efficiency and accuracy.


About you.... You will have
  • Strong technical payroll knowledge and experience
  • Experience implementing payroll policies on a global scale already , ideally within France, Germany, USA, Oz, Sweden. UK is essential
  • The ability to lead the project and supporting stakeholders involved in the process
  • CIPP / AAT - preferred but not essential
  • Ideally from telecoms industry but any industry will be considered
  • Challenger mindset
  • Always looking to drive improvement.


In return you will receive:
  • Salary from £50,000 - £80,000 DOE
