There is an immediate opportunity for a PQ / Qualified / QBE - ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Finance Manager to join this Sheffield based not for profit organisation for an initial 3-6 months interim contract as Finance Manager ensuring delivery and operations of financial systems, there is potential for this to become a permanent role.
Key responsibilities will include:
*
Generating bi-monthly management accounts.
*
Processing quarterly VAT returns.
*
Managing the budget.
*
Variance analysis.
*
Liaison with auditors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the HMRC.
*
Maintaining the weekly cash flow.
*
Maintaining records of the company’s contracts with suppliers, funders and sponsors.
*
Track financial deliverables related to public and private project funding.
*
Tracking and filing separate financial records for year-round projects as required.
*
Managing the monthly payroll.
*
Managing the company pension scheme.
*
Managing the sales ledger including raising, processing and chasing payments of sales invoices.
*
Tracking, managing and reconciling Petty cash.
*
Producing Debtors/Creditors reports.
You will demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach, sound technical accounting knowledge as well as good communication skills.
