We are seeking an Accounts Manager for a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in Cambridge. What Will You Do?

As part of the accounting services team, you will manage a diverse portfolio, primarily focusing on clients within the healthcare sector. Your responsibilities will include:

* Overseeing the management of your portfolio, which involves workforce planning, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and billing.

* Demonstrating a thorough understanding of assignment plans and effectively briefing team members.

* Delegating tasks to junior team members while ensuring work is completed within budget.

* Reviewing files prepared by junior colleagues and producing completed files for final partner review.

* Collaborating with partners to effectively plan and manage workflow for the team.

* Building and nurturing client relationships, both with existing clients and new opportunities.

What Experience Will You Bring?

* A professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) is essential.

* Experience in managing a portfolio of healthcare clients, including statutory accounts preparation and tax computations is required.

* Proven people management experience.

* Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask.

* A commercial and proactive approach to client development.

* A good working knowledge of accounting software.
