Group Pensions Manager - Immediate Start
Sheridan Maine is seeking an experienced Group Pensions Manager with large company experience to deliver a number of key projects for a FTSE 250 plc as well as supporting the Head of Group Pensions with the oversight and control of a number of DB and DC schemes.
The role is initially a 6 months assignment, inside IR35 and on a remote working basis.
Key
responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role at a large company FTSE 100 / 250 plc environment and be available on short notice.
The role is offered on a remote working basis within the UK with some very occasional travel to the London head office.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without any restrictions.

Key
responsibilities:
- Manage the closure of several defined benefit pension schemes, ensuring the seamless transition of employees to new schemes.
- Oversee day-to-day pension management and review the administration of funds in conjunction with Trustees.
- Develop pensions policies and pension and benefits packages.
- Review, discuss and agree fund strategy and structure with the company board, investment managers and other advisers.
- Keep up to date with current statutory regulations and monitor changes in the legal situation for pensions providers and developments in pension provision to ensure the optimum performance of the fund.
- Deal with complex pension claims.
- Contribute to annual and other financial reports.
