About the Firm/Role:

CRA Financial are looking for a Trust Manager to the team of specialist Solicitors in a leading expert practice. This is a great opportunity to take on the day-to-day responsibility for the administration of a wide variety of trusts, as well as the preparation of annual trust accounts and tax returns, in a supportive and colleague-led team.

The role will see you:
  • Prepare annual trust accounts, complete and submit to HMRC annual tax returns and payments
  • Deal with compliance matters such as CRS, FATCA and Trust Registration Scheme
  • Calculating tax and completing IHT forms
  • Liase with other members of the team such as commercial property managers and investment managers concerning the trusts’ investments and Investment Policy Statements
  • Work with fee earners to draft required documents

About you:
  • Min. 5 years’ experience of trust management
  • Hold an accounting qualification
  • Good knowledge of income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
  • Previous experience of dealing with trusts receiving rental income associated commercial property expenses
