Are you an experienced accounts assistant with a passion for delivering excellent client service? Do you have experience working in accountancy practice or within a legal setting? Are you accurate, organised and keen to join a business with a real family feel?
We are thrilled to be supporting a well-established and evolving legal firm based in Stratford-upon-Avon. Through organic growth they have built a strong team and pride themselves on their exceptional client services. They are now seeking a dedicated Client Accountant to join their accounts team. This role comes with an annual salary of up to £35,000.00.
Key
Responsibilities:
Analysing income and expenditure and creating annual accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Preparing personal, trust, and estate tax returns accurately and efficiently.
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their financial and tax affairs, providing guidance, and answering any queries promptly.
Preparing detailed and accurate financial reports for clients.
Completing Capital Gains Tax computations and handling 60-day returns for property disposals.
Assisting with client and internal compliance work to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
Maintaining up-to-date client records and databases to support seamless client management.Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:
Minimum two years' experience in accounts assistant or similar role, a background in accountancy practice or legal is desirable.
Previous experience in personal tax return production and submission is essential.
AAT qualified or studying toward completion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines, while also being an effective team player.
Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in IT, particularly Excel, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting software.
As the role involves regular client contact, strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach are essential.Benefits Include:

Hybrid working - full time in office is preferable but 1 to 2 days working from home per week can be accommodated dependant on previous experience.
