Management Accountant
Hybrid
Up to £55,000 subject to experience
Location - Redditch, Worcestershire, UK
T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Management Accountant to join the finance team of a highly successful leading manufacturing group with significant financial investment and growth plans.
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Management Accountant with strong commercial acumen, financial analysis and audit skills who loves to work on their own initiative but also thrives as a team player covering the role of management accountant, with the responsibility to deliver business insights through high quality data reporting, ensuring a varied, challenging and rewarding role.
As Management Accountant key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing Monthly Management Accounts, month end journals, monthly P&L, including P&L reviews, balance sheets / reconciliations, cash flow statements, monthly reporting packs
* Assisting with preparation of yearly budget and quarterly reforecasting
* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns, Tax, PAYE payments
* Review and improvement of processes and controls
* Support the consolidation process, statutory accounting and other internal reporting
* Audit process co-ordination
* Support and liaise with internal stakeholders
* Responsible for financial analysis, business insights and ad-hoc data reporting.
Requirements to be a successful Management Accountant:
* Qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent
* Must have strong financial analytical / audit experience
* Must be IT savvy, with strong excel and reporting writing skills
* Confident and articulate with great communication skills
* Inquisitive and detail focused - happy to dig into information to find solutions to issues
* Financial systems experience
* Must have manufacturing experience
