Key

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Audit Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Audit to manage and run the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits for clients in the SME sector. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the team in delivering on-site audit work.
Building strong relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for audit needs, and managing both client expectations and internal teams.
Playing a key role in the development and mentorship of the audit team, serving as a role model.
Conducting file reviews across a diverse client portfolio, applying your technical knowledge while continuing to develop your own skills.
Ensuring that quality standards are consistently met within the department.
Identifying and delivering value-added services to clients, helping them achieve their goals.
Contributing to the growth of the department by winning new work and converting leads into business.
Experience & Skills:

Senior manager experience in a medium-sized practice working with SMEs.
ACA or ACCA qualification.
Strong technical knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs.
RI qualification, or the ability to achieve RI status within 12 months.
A passion for building and nurturing client relationships.
Tech-savviness, with knowledge of CCH being a plus.
A proactive attitude and the ability to manage tasks of all sizes.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for becoming immersed in the company culture and contributing to the business's success.
