Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist in managing diverse tax projects and respond to queries from various operations and stakeholders
• Participate in tax accounting, reporting, and automation initiatives
• Contribute to tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including income tax, VAT, and withholding tax
• Collaborate on tax audits and engage with tax authorities and external advisors
• Help identify and mitigate tax risks, supporting due diligence and health checks
• Maintain and share tax knowledge, contributing to the company's tax strategy
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Tax
• Registered professional tax technician certification (essential)
• VAT Certification (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in a tax role, preferably in a multinational organization or financial institution
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax and VAT legislation
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and business environments
