A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a temporary Management Accountant to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and paying between £32,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain and prepare management accounts and reports to ensure business decision making information is available as required
Liaise with internal departments to ensure payment applications are issued in a timely manner
Debt chasing to ensure company cash flow is maintained
Monthly payroll preparation, liaising with the HR Manager to ensure all data is input correctly
Preparation of month end supplier payments before final processing for payment
Processing of VAT returns
Manage company credit card expense claims via Concur
Assist with completion of supplier questionnaires and vendor packs as necessary
Preparations of year-end audit information for the annual audit, ensuring all information is ready and available in good time.
Follow Quality Management System (QMS) at all times
Ensure non-conformities are reported promptly
Additional ad-hoc tasks as required
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Management Accountant position:
AAT accountancy qualified
IT literate including excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes
5 years+ experience
Motivated, with good organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
