We are currently working with one of the leading professional services firms who is expanding their Reward offering to clients and as a result is seeking an Assistant Manager with experienced in Equity Reward matters. Working with a variety of clients, from privately owned businesses (owner managed to private equity) as well as some listed businesses, you will need to be a driven individual, keen to progress in their Reward career, and someone who enjoys taking part in business development, including client proposals, internal and external presentations and writing material on technical and other matters. However, personality fit is also key to our client, it’s not all about the experience you have.

As Assistant Manager Equity Reward you will have responsibility for:
  • Supporting the wider client services team on delivering client projects on Reward workflows, including:
  • Designing and structuring of new equity or cash-based incentive plans considering the tax (UK and overseas), commercial and accounting impacts and/or reviewing existing incentive plans to ensure they remain fit for purpose;
  • Advising on the tax and wider commercial impact of any corporate transactions on existing or new incentive plans and also advising on the tax structuring of transactions; and
  • Designing incentive plans for the wider workforce including all employee share purchase plans
  • Regular client interaction, helping present reports and analysis and day to day management of projects
  • Working with other teams to deliver integrated advice to clients in relation to their business issues
  • Delegating work to, and reviewing work carried out by, junior team members from both technical and commercial perspectives
  • Training / developing of junior team members (technical and non-technical issues)
  • Assisting in the development of innovative solutions and opportunities for clients and being part of initiatives to bring solutions to market
  • Advising on technical issues and supporting the team’s knowledge management

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in incentive plan designing and structuring
  • Committed and driven candidates who take personal responsibility and accountability for projects

  • ATT and/or CTA/ACA/Legal qualification (either completed or part-completed or seeking to complete)
