This is a key role responsible for supporting the operating expense month-end reporting within the FP&A function. Reporting to the Finance Director FP&A, you will be responsible for the accurate accounting of approximately 1000 employees (FTEs).

What does a great Finance Analyst do?
This is a key role responsible for supporting the operating expense month-end reporting within the FP&A function. Reporting to the Finance Director FP&A, you will be responsible for the accurate accounting of approximately 1000 employees (FTEs).
Responsibilities include:
- Month End close packs - Preparation and reconciliations - Download regular Oracle and FMR reports and check for alignment between the systems. Reconcile FTE month end working file with “Group” close call pack data
- Reporting Packs production and release. Ensure accurate reporting by VP with comprehensive analysis of FTE resource, including detailed commentary and variance analysis at relevant level for publication through Power BI.
- Forecast and Budget completion for FTEs and Reporting Consolidation. Ensuring alignment to the strategic expectations of group finance
- Partner with the People Team and Operational teams to ensure accuracy of FTE reporting
- Manage FTE transfers with the People Team and in the finance systems
- Review, reconcile and approve new job requisitions
- Monitor and report joiners, transfers, conversions, and leavers
- Complete analysis of Wages, pension, bonus, taxes and welfare costs
- Management and reporting of total employee cost base, including wages, employee development, travel, employee infrastructure and employee facilities
- Run month end downloads for close reporting and ad hoc requests as needed throughout the month using Oracle
- Ad-Hod FP&A support where needed.
Who we are looking for in this role:
- Financial analysis experience, including financial reporting experience.
- Studying Accountancy (ACCA / CIMA).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a benefit.
- Proven communication and relationship building skills.
- Attention to detail and demand of high standards of presentation.
- A team player in proactively developing cross functional support.
- Prior experience of Cognos BI, TM1 planning tools and Power BI a benefit.
