About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Support Officer provides quality support to the Accounts Receivable (AR) function and ensures that the Department's Financial Delegation and financial governance policies and processes are adhered to.
The Accounts Receivable Support Officer is responsible for assisting with the Department's AR obligations - processing invoice requests, credit notes, customer Masterfile, assisting with debtor management, maintenance and problem solving of the end to end Accounts Receivable workflow.
The Accounts Receivable Officer assists with the continuous improvement initiatives including the documentation and update of processes, adherence to service standards and key performance metrics.
From time to time, cross-skilling across the AR function and associated compliance functions will be required.

Position Outcomes
The role involves raising and allocating Accounts Receivable invoices and payments, managing customer creation, issuing invoices and statements, handling queries, and assisting with debt collection. It also includes supporting process improvements and providing comprehensive support for the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function.

- Experience and understanding of Accounts Receivable functions.

Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics.
Desirable
- Prior Accounts Receivable, Accounting or Finance experience.
