Head of Finance - Record to Report (R2R / RTR)
Manchester (Hybrid 2-3 days a week in the office)
Circa £100K + Bonus + Benefits Package
This is an exceptional opportunity to join this high growth market leading international listed employer of choice. The Head of Finance - Report to Report (R2R / RTR) will play a pivotal financial leadership role tasked with ensuring the business is in good shape to support an exciting phase of expansion.
We are interest in speaking with those that meet the following criteria:
- MUST have significant previous experience within a large Shared Service environment.
- Significant relevant R2R / RTR experience within a large corporate shared service centre (FSSC) environment.
- Qualified Accountant ideally ACA from an Audit Background or ACCA / CIMA with extensive experience within a financial control's environment and a heavy focus on Audit.
- Must be an established leader with a demonstrable track record of building and developing large high performing teams with an emphasis of building a progressive and supportive working environment.
- Significant experience of a large ERP system ideally Oracle or SAP.
- End to end process improvement within a financial shared services environment highly desirable.
- Previous experience of change management / finance transformation is highly desirable.
- The ability and want to take both a high-level view whilst also maintaining and understanding the detail.
Role Overview:
- Lead the people agenda, coaching and developing direct reports to build an internal talent pool for succession always championing the company's behaviours and values.
- Create and deliver clear objectives and strategy for the R2R / RTR Team ensuring adequate resources, a structure that supports growth and the required skills to achieve targets and meet SLA's.
- Instil a culture of continuous improvement, efficiencies and controls ensuring all owned R2R processes have fully operating controls which are evidenced and meet the Group standards.
- Effectively manage and monitor the flow of work across the R2R / RTR team, re-planning and prioritising resources as necessary.
- Manage and deliver timely, accurate and insightful financial reporting, which is efficient, cost effective, meets stakeholder requirements, and satisfies internal and regulatory requirements.
- Continually assess and refine SLAs with key stakeholders and report against these, implementing improvements plans as necessary. Monitor KPIs with regular reporting and benchmarking.
- Lead the R2R / RTR finance transformation agenda ensuring ERP Systems, processes and structures are set up to support future shape as the Group grows both organically and inorganically, domestically and internationally.
- Maintain strong relationships with the wider finance, IT and commercial communities.
Build strong and collaborative relationships with external advisors, consultants and advisors.
- Lead the R2R / RTR compliance and controls agenda ensuring all audit requirements are agreed and met.
