Seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager!
Currently seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager to support our team based on site at Hinkley Point C or Bristol. The successful candidate will split their time between the site office and the construction building, gathering and reporting information from supervisors to the site PM.
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
Monitor subcontractor cost performance and manage costs
Review weekly/monthly management accounts and identify areas for improvement
Maintain data within the Site Works Management System
Ensure timely and accurate billing of all work carried out within the site project
Manage the Early Warning and Compensation Event process as per the contract
Handle client disputes and create strong client relationships
Provide timely responses to client inquiries and communication
Assist in preparing revenue reports and monthly management accounts
Contribute to the overall management of commercial aspects of the contract
Use negotiating skills and have a good understanding of the NEC form of ContractSkills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of the NEC form of Contract
Excellent negotiation skills
Previous experience in a similar commercial management role
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
