Astute Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a brilliant business who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a 3-to-6-month contract.
Based in Tutbury you will be responsible for the Credit Control operation.
Duties:
* Setting up new accounts for customers
* Making sure any account customers issues are reported to customer services
* Ensuring all new credit account applications are reviewed
* All credit limits insured and monitored
* Acquiring payment commitments from customers via email and telephone calls
* Chasing customers with statements and letters
* Credit note, invoice and payment reconciliation
* Setting up and negotiating payment plans for struggling customers
* Continuing to maintain relationships with all customers, always providing the highest levels of customer service
Required Skills and Experience:
* Good credit control experience
* Brilliant telephone skills and manner for both outbound and inbound communication
* Strong I.T skills, including Excel
* Possess a can-do attitude
* High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
* Friendly, personable and willing to adapt
Salary and Benefits:
* 40-hour week 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (in office hours)
* Potential for part time hours (20 hours a week)
* Dog friendly office
* 25 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Salary up to £28,000, depending on experience
