We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account and Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the textile or garments industry. The Senior Account and Finance Manager will report directly to the top management /Director of the company and will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance functions within the organization.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts to support business objectives.
• Conduct regular financial analysis, including budget variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for audits and inspections.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
3. Cash Flow Management:
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements to optimize financial resources and mitigate financial risks.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable activities to ensure timely collections and payments.
4. Taxation and Legal Compliance:
• Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns, to minimize tax liabilities and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations to proactively address potential impacts on the company's financial position.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the textile or garments industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools and software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
