Key responsibilities

We expect you to focus on providing data analytics solutions and draw insights from clients' Accounting and Financial data. This would involve the following responsibilities

Extract, transform and analyze various financial and operational data, from various accounting, finance and business systems
Develop, enhance and maintain various financial reports that help the senior management of our clients track their business and take strategic decisions
Analyze trial balance and ledger entries, manage accounts closures and prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement)
Analyze AR and AP ageing, Bad debt, profitability, and other key financial metrics and draw insights
Develop budgeting and long-range planning models and track variance with actual performance
Prepare cash flow and working capital forecasts
Generate and extract key financial data and reports from the financial data systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Adaptive, Great Plains etc
What are the pre-requisites and skillsets required to apply for this role
Should have B.Com/CA or MBA in Finance from top institutions
Should have 1-3 years' experience in financial planning and analysis functions covering budgeting, planning, management reporting and analysis
Experience in collaborating with techno functional teams is a plus
Should be able to use business judgement and a structured approach towards solving complex analytical problems
Experience in CPG, Retail, TMT and Healthcare industries is preferable
CFA and exposure to U.S. GAAP is a plus
Should have good communication skills and be a team player
Strong skillset on Excel, PowerPivot and SQL is preferred
