You will be working as Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst and will be part of Electrification Business Area for EL Business Area Division located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and will be responsible for support the IS organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposing improvement actions. Knowledge of Accounting, allocation, and reporting of functional costs
• Planning and preparation of Budgets and 5Q Rolling Forecast. Working with the management team to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends
• Preparing financial modelling for various 'what if' scenarios and the overall impact to organization. Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions. Periodic analysis of financial statements and KPI's such as Cash flow, Balance sheet and Income statement
• Process knowledge of back charging, third party accounting, issuing invoices and tracking payment. Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations
• Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements
• Performing controls within own area of responsibility as designed. Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews
  
  

Your background

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a Finance or Accounting, CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands on experience in SAP modules preferred and experience with MS Office is a must
• Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills
