This firm is seeking to appoint a permanent Accounts Assistant, offering significant opportunities for career progression. The firm offers a range of services, including accountancy, taxation, and business advisory.

Your new role
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Management accounts- Bookkeeping
- Preparation of company tax returns
- Handling VAT returns

You will be expected to manage multiple workflows simultaneously and confidently engage directly with clients. As you gain experience, there is an opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients, should you wish to do so.

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working in an accounting firm
- Part-qualified ACCA or CA
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to take responsibility and suggest solutions to problems encountered
- Proven success as a team player
- Proven ability to work to budgets and deadlines
