Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance:Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documentation.Financial Reporting:Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and records for management review.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Bookkeeping:Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual variances.Tax Compliance:Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.Financial Analysis:Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.Audit Support:Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.Vendor Management:Manage relationships with vendors, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payment processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
Skills:
