Overview of a Compensation Manager
The purpose of this role is to provide overall reward expertise in benefits, recognition and wellbeing, with the focus being compensation.
Responsibilities of a Compensation Manager
• Benchmark all new roles to the organisation; including job categorisation
• Manage Job Architecture and Position Evaluation processes with support of team manager
• To manage the annual salary survey submission; data collection, audit and submission
• Review and analyse survey results to propose changes required to salary bands
• Implement the annual salary review and promotion process across Europe (UK, Ireland and 13 countries across Europe)
• Manage all payroll compensation changes; review and approval
• Monthly; Track and assess all payroll elements to ensure accuracy throughout the year
• Gender Pay report; calculation, analysis and legal reporting
• Investigating best practices and working collaboratively with the wider team/business and investigate visibility options
• Overall management of GHRPw Compensation module and investigate further improvements and capabilities
• Fulfil any legislative changes and requirements
• Working collaboratively with the wider people team UK and other subs, to complete the key compensation processes
• Research and implement best practice in Reward using external networks
• To assist with the data collection for miscellaneous projects on an ad-hoc basis
• Support with benefit projects as required
