The SRI function is seeking an experienced project manager with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for ESG.
The Sustainability Reporting Director will drive the overall delivery of the annual Sustainability Reporting suite for Credit Suisse entailing program management and extensive stakeholder interaction with senior business partners and cross functional teams to produce the annual report. You will also coordinate and project manage Credit Suisse’s response to ESG disclosures (including voluntary frameworks and ESG regulatory requirements), scanning the horizon for emerging regulatory requirements, industry standards and voluntary frameworks. You will also be responsible for administering and preparing the Credit Suisse ESG Disclosure and Reporting Steering Committee governance. Ensuring the delivery of impactful and credible ESG disclosures will support the Sustainability, Research and Investment Solutions (SRI) function within Credit Suisse to become a leader in content, insights and sustainability to drive the bank’s long-term growth and strategy at large. In addition, as part of this role you will work closely with SRI marketing and communications colleagues to establish a culture of sustainability, by driving internal engagement and implementing employee activation activities.
Your future colleagues
The Sustainability Reporting Director reports to the Head of Sustainability Reporting and Culture and will work with cross-functional teams (internal subject matter experts, CFO, Communication and Marketing teams) to deliver the Sustainability Report. The role is highly visible, with opportunities to work with CS and SRI senior leaders and is well suited for an organized individual who enjoys solving complex problems, working effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a dynamic setting. - Proven experience in financial services or management consulting in a related field
- Relevant ESG reporting experience and familiarity with disclosure frameworks is a significant plus
- Experience with board-level reporting, with exceptional PowerPoint and Word proficiency
- Strong project management skill-set with experience managing cross-functional and regional project teams, familiarity with issue resolution and meeting competing deadlines in high pressure situations
- Strong written communication and editorial skills, with extraordinary attention to detail and ability to distill large amounts of complex information into a readily digestible product for various business partners
- Proven stakeholder management experience with ability to build consensus across divisions and various levels of seniority, while gaining respect of senior management and business teams
- Experience in driving culture and/or employee engagement related initiatives desirable
- Results-oriented individual with strong work ethic and be willing to dive into the detail and get ‘hands-on’ to deliver
