Junior Accountant required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Central London. Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Junior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Junior Accountant Position Overview

• Prepare and file tax returns for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and ensure accurate reporting
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies efficiently
• General bookkeeping duties
• Take care of any adhoc work as and when it arises

Junior Accountant Position Requirements

• 3+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Proficient using Xero software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, able to identify errors and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Ability to work well within a team
• AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified
