Salary:
£50,000 - £55,000 + 10% annual performance bonus

We are excited to be working with our respected client, who are a key division within a large global organisation. We are looking to recruit an experienced and hands-on Management Accountant / Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional to join a close-knit team based at the Northwich office.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Direct line management of a small finance team, including a Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Clerk.
  • Financial Management: Take charge of month-end reporting, forecasting, and analysing financial results to provide valuable insights to the Managing Director.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the finance department, maintaining robust financial controls and processes.
  • Payroll Expertise: Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and delivering accurate payroll for staff members.
  • A previous background in manufacturing with stock management would be desirable but not essential.

Key skills:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in management accounting with some line management experience. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll processes and be comfortable working in a fully office-based role.
  • ACCA/CIMA qualification or Qualified by experience
  • Proven experience working in a similar role within a hands-on SME environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a small finance team.

What's on Offer:
  • Competitive base salary of £50,000 - £55,000
