VAT Manager
A dynamic and expanding VAT team is seeking a confident and ambitious VAT specialist to join their ranks. With plans to double in size over the next 3-5 years, this role offers strong promotion prospects for the right candidate.
Key
Responsibilities:
Liaise with HMRC to ensure clients meet VAT obligations, avoiding costs and penalties.
Provide clear, practical, and well-researched VAT advice.
Resolve VAT disputes with HMRC, suppliers, and customers.
Manage a diverse client portfolio, identifying new opportunities and generating projects.Additional Duties:
Support tender proposals, marketing initiatives, and due diligence.
Provide VAT input for restructuring projects and train staff on VAT matters.
Investigate VAT queries and review registration applications and returns.Requirements:
Experience in VAT advisory/compliance work.
Strong understanding of VAT principles and technical skills.
Ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
Proven track record in managing clients and winning new VAT work.
