Senior Payroll Finance Analyst
Job Description

As part of the Global Payroll Center of Excellence, the Payroll Financial Analyst will play a critical role in delivering Payroll and Financial Services Globally. This incumbent will work cross-functionally with HR, Finance and other internal and external Stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely salaries of associates, payment runs and reconciliations and third party payments. The role reports directly into the Regional Payroll Leader and will support our Global Payroll function at NielsenIQ.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Monthly Payroll processing activities, ensure pay is processed on time, accurately, completely and in compliance with all regulations.
Perform all aspects of the third-party Payroll payable function by matching purchase orders to invoices and entering the invoices into SAP/TAP according to NielsenIQ's policies.
Ensures day-to-day Payroll financial transactions are timely recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with NielsenIQ's policies and SOX controls.
Perform month-end closing activities including expense accruals, journal entries and supporting schedules/analysis.
Prepare the reconciliation of Payroll payables-related general ledger accounts in accordance with NielsenIQ's policies.
Payroll Accountancy experience
Deliver year end payroll processes
Support with internal and external audit and tax-related activities, including preparation of data and evidence as required
Support with Finance and HR queries
Build positive relationships to ensure successful collaborations to be able to respond to internal payroll questions, and handle ad-hoc payroll requests.
Prepare Payroll financial and ad hoc reports as required
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting | Finance | Administration
Minimum of 1 years of payroll operational and/or accounting experience for a multinational company
Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency for employee questions; be able to spot errors or exceptions quickly.
Able to demonstrate a strong ability to absorb multiple country regulations and complexities
Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communicator and collaborator.
SAP AP/ PY / Workday experience a plus.
English profiency (advanced level)
