Complex Pricing Structure:

Pricing changes weekly and varies by category, SKU, day, week, month, and quarter.

The complexity of the pricing data requires someone who can manage these frequent changes accurately.

Key Skills Required:

Excel:
Advanced skills are essential.
Must be proficient with complex formulas, including VLOOKUP and concatenation.
The ability to design formulas for vertical and horizontal lookups is crucial.
Attention to Detail:
Thorough and diligent in follow-up.
Comfortable with large datasets (hundreds of thousands of lines) that have financial implications.
Data-Oriented:
I must enjoy working with complex, nuanced processes, cleaning, scrubbing, and analyzing data.
Capable of manipulating data and referencing multiple Excel documents.

Process Understanding:

Background in AP (Accounts Payable) and accounting is beneficial.
Needs to understand different types of audits (post-sale, pre-sale) and how they relate to the timeline.
We should be able to identify process issues and suggest improvements.

Big Box Retail Experience:

Experience with big box retailers (e.g., Home Depot) is a plus.

Communication and Problem-Solving:

Must be proactive in asking questions and initiating communications.
Needs to preemptively communicate potential delays or issues, particularly concerning deadlines and deliverables.
Collaborative and flexible, willing to adapt processes based on new findings.

Audit and Claims Experience:

Prior experience in pricing audits is highly desirable.
Familiarity with claims (credit memos and chargebacks) is beneficial, as these are results of audit activities.

SQL Skills:

While not directly required, SQL experience is seen as beneficial due to its relevance to data manipulation and writing formulas.

Candidate Background:

Prior pricing analysis or claims experience is advantageous, but the candidate must demonstrate depth in understanding and experience.
Financial auditors with invoicing experience might be a good fit.

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
