They are now seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant/Semi-Senior to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.
The Accounts Assistant/Semi-Senior will be responsible for providing a range of accounting services to clients, including preparing accounts, tax returns, and management reports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
RequirementsAAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) is desirable.
Proven experience in an accounting role within a practice environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

The Accounts Assistant/Semi-Senior will be responsible for providing a range of accounting services to clients, including preparing accounts, tax returns, and management reports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports.
- Complete VAT returns and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Handle bookkeeping duties, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Provide assistance during audits and liaise with auditors as required.
- Maintain and update accounting records and client files.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their queries and provide exceptional service.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the firm.
