We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager / FC, to join our SME client who are a growing, privately owned business with in Oldham. Reporting directly into an ambitious MD, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations and leading a small team.
Your role will be varied and hands on, responsible for:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager / FC, to join our SME client who are a growing, privately owned business with in Oldham. Reporting directly into an ambitious MD, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations and leading a small team.
Your role will be varied and hands on, responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, managing a small team (3) and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions.
- Producing monthly management accounts and the financial information pack
- Budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Producing the annual statutory accounts, corporation tax, PAYE and VAT returns
- Ensure financial processes and internal controls are improved and implemented appropriately
- Provide commercial analysis and MI to discuss insights and support non-financial stakeholders
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Previous experience working in a similar, hands-on FM/FC role for a growing SME business.
- Driven to develop a deep understanding of the business's commercial operations, and able to drive improvements and add value.
