My client is a wholesale business based in North Manchester. Due to the current incumbent going on maternity leave they are recruiting this role on a 12 month fixed term contract basis which requires an immediate or short notice start, this is an interesting position with a growing organisation who are undergoing projects to improve processes and procedures that you will be heavily involved with.
As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within the finance team, ensuring that both these functions run as effectively as possible whilst looking to improve processes which will increase efficiency. A large part of the role will be liaising with key stakeholders both internally and with 3rd parties, which will include managing the credit insurance policies and making sure any customers who cannot attain a sufficient level of credit insurance is covered by an alternative method. You will also complete the daily cashflow forecast, review and sign off balance sheet reconciliations at month end and collaborate with the wider teams on projects.
This role will suit a qualified finance leader who has experience with credit insurance relating to debt collection and strong stakeholder management skills. The salary on offer is paying up to £67,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working, a generous holiday entitlement and staff discounts.
