Management Accountant

Salary:
circa £52,000- £58,000

I am currently looking for a Management Accountant to join a strong finance team, for a leading wholesale company in South Manchester. As a senior Management Accountant you will be involved in both month end activities but also providing commercial support to the wider business.

Responsibilities include:

• Day to day financial responsibility for several UK and Global business entities and subsidiaries
• Completion and assistance of both the month end and year end process, including production of monthly reports and the annual audit process for the Group business entities
• Monthly preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc analysis to aid and improve the decision-making process
• Provide commercial business partnering support to each of the various trading entities and divisions
• Administration of corporate filing returns including VAT, Duty, PAYE, Corporation Tax, Companies House Filing, and maintenance
• Assist with the collation and development of annual budgeting process
• Support with the Monthly Board Pack reporting & improvements
• Cash flow forecasting and reporting

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Demonstrate experience in a similar role
• Confident with budgeting processes and forecasting
• Strong Excel/ IT skills
• A team player with effective communication and business partnering skills
