Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a US Indirect Tax Specialist I, to join our US Tax Division (Ashland LLC, Specialty ingredients G.P., ISP Chemicals etc.) business at our Hyderabad office). This is a very visible, significant role within the US Indirect Taxation team. This position will report to Manager US Indirect Taxation.
US Indirect Tax Specialist I is responsible for:
• Preparation, filing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual sales & use tax returns

• Fundamental knowledge of Property Taxes

• Assist with document generation needed for sales & use audits

• Has knowledge about Notice resolution

• Has experience calling up US State Dept for various tasks

Education/Experience:

• Master's degree in finance graduates/. MBA would be a definite advantage.

• Min 2 - 4 years of selling experience in US Indirect Taxation.

• Fluency in English is a must & should.
Skills:
• SAP and Vertex experience

• Running general ledger activity

• Generating payments

• Ascertaining invoice for fixed assets and expenses

• Ascertaining accounting documents

• Proficient in Excel and Word

• Experience in Access

• Electronic filing experience
