Job Description
Centreco (UK), are a leading provider of solar energy systems to businesses within the UK.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to work from their office in Chorley, this is a full-time role working 35 hours per week.
As a Finance Assistant you will have access to a range of benefits including:

The focus of the role will be to support the Finance Manager and the day-to-day operations of the finance team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Process Sales Invoices in accordance with agreed terms
- Process Purchase Invoices in accordance with company policies
- Complete weekly and monthly payroll for all staff, on a timely basis
- Run aged debt reports and chase outstanding invoices
- Contribute towards month-end reconciliations
- Business partnering with Operations to monitor budgets and KPI targets
- Process supplier payments for final approval by the directors
- Any other ad-hoc duties to support the Finance Manager

Interested? We're looking for:
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in processing payroll data and current legislation
- Good communications skills and effectively liaising with non-finance colleagues
- Experience of working with Xero and Xero Payroll is highly desirable
- Ability to organise own workload and meet tight deadlines
