Key
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate effective credit management.
- Conduct credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure compliance with credit terms.
- Resolve any payment issues or disputes efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare regular reports on debtors, credit status, and collection performance for senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior credit control staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a credit control position, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of credit control processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
