Accounts Assistant Runcorn (WA7) £26k - £28k DOE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a fast-growing and well-established group of companies, based in the Runcorn area.
Working hours: 8:30am 5pm (1 hour lunch) or alternatively 9am-5pm (30 mins lunch)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a fast-growing and well-established group of companies, based in the Runcorn area.
Working hours: 8:30am 5pm (1 hour lunch) or alternatively 9am-5pm (30 mins lunch)
Duties of the role:
- Purchase Ledger responsible for the day-to-day processing of purchase invoices (high volumes)
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies
- Retrieving invoices from supplier portals
- Bank reconciliations.
- Raising manual invoices
- Processing recurring invoices and collections
- Credit Control requesting payments from creditor accounts.
- Processing employee expenses
- Downloading petty cash
- Ensuring all invoices are recorded and entered on to Sage via an auto entry system.
- Supporting with the production of management accounts and year end reporting
- Ensuring all daily, weekly, monthly invoices are sent, received, and processed.
- Creating purchase Orders on to Sage50
- Setting up new supplier accounts and amending supplier details where necessary.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience required:
- Proven experience working within a similar role Essential
- Experience using Sage50 accounts desirable, not essential
- Successful candidate must possess excellent IT skills & be confident using Excel
- Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment.
