We are looking for an AR/AP Accountant to join our finance team in ou offices in Bangalore. This position will be a maternity cover until April 2025, with the possibility of being extended further.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month end tasks and producing accurate and timely financial statements
• Accurately enter sales and purchase invoices onto the accounting system (Zoho books)
• Create bank payment runs and TDS deductions
• Preparation of GST returns
• Preparation of monthly payroll
• Statutory compliances for GST, TDS, Provident Fund, Professional Tax, etcPrepare monthly journals for accruals and prepayments
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing analytical review summaries explaining the month on month movements
• Work closely with other departments to ensure appropriate costs, budgets and processes are adhered to
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• High attention to detail
• Strong spreadsheet skills
• Commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Dynamic and highly organised
• Part qualified or equivalent (accountancy or finance qualification)
• Ideally passion for games
• Based in our Bangalore office, following our hybrid model with 3 days per week on-site.
