Payroll Officer
About the opportunity
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our busy Payroll team, located at C3's modern harbourside office at Sulphur Point.
In this role you will provide an efficient, effective and client focused payroll service using your knowledge of the relevant legislation. This role contributes to the company's objectives by ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time and that quality payroll information is provided to staff and managers on a timely basis.
This is no ordinary Payroll position because as an organisation C3 has a complex structure with numerous regional collective agreements and subsidiary companies to keep challenging our payroll team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be client focused with payroll and/or financial systems knowledge. Having several years' payroll experience with a computerised payroll system such as iChris or Chris21 is desirable along with a strong knowledge of finance systems and processes. Well-developed computer abilities that include excel and data entry skills are required along with a high level of accuracy. In addition, you need to have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have significant attention to detail with good numeracy.

We would consider applicants looking for a permanent or part time role. If part time the role would need to cover a minimum of four days per week including a Monday.
