Tax Consultant - Northamptonshire - Up to £45,000 per year + Great Benefits!!!

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Tax Consultantto join our prestigious client, a well-established firm in the accounting sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing expert tax advice, and supporting clients with tax planning and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in building strong client relationships, identifying tax planning opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of the firm.

Role:

• Prepare client accounts and tax returns, advising on tax payable and ensuring timely submissions.
• Liaise proactively with clients to gather necessary information and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support Managers and Partners in tax planning and advisory work to enhance client business and personal wealth.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and assist with reports and computations.
• Monitor job quality and maintain chargeable time within agreed budgets.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to trainees and assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting software queries.
• Assist in client seminars and contribute to the proactive promotion of the firm.

Salary/Benefits:

• £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Skills/Experience:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (Essential).
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts experience within a practice environment (Essential).
• Understanding of personal tax returns (Essential)
• Understanding of corporation tax (Essential)
• Knowledge of accounting software such as CCH, Xero, Sage Line 50, and Farmplan (Desirable).
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
