Responsibilities:
Plant Finance Management:
- Oversee financial operations at manufacturing plants, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor plant performance, analyzing cost structures and profitability to recommend improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and compliance in plant operations.
Supply Chain Finance Oversight:
- Develop and manage financial strategies to optimize supply chain performance, including cost management, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Analyze supply chain costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Profitability and Cost Management:
- Conduct in-depth profitability analyses of both plant and supply chain activities, providing actionable insights to enhance financial outcomes.
- Develop and execute cost control strategies to ensure financial targets are achieved while maintaining operational excellence.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, cost trends, and profitability insights.
- Provide regular updates on financial performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with plant operations, procurement, logistics, and other departments to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between plant finance and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive financial management.
Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify and implement financial process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness within plant and supply chain operations.
- Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and enhance financial performance.
Qualifications & Skill Sets:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 8 plus years of Experience.
- Extensive experience in plant finance or manufacturing finance, with demonstrated expertise in managing profitability and cost reduction.
- Strong knowledge & Experience in supply chain finance principles and best practices.
- Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within both plant and supply chain environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
