Management Accountant (12 Month FTC - Maternity Leave Cover)

Loughborough - Office Based

£40,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:30

Management Accountant required for an award-winning company who are specialists within the vehicle hire industry. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company who truly value their employees.

Candidates will need experience working as a Management Accountant and can come from any industry background. You will need to hold a relevant accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent, and will need experience of working with Excel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely management accounts to the Financial Controller and Head of Finance.

Management Accountant Role:

• Prepare management accounts and interrogate financial data, presenting findings to the team

• Work with external auditors on annual accounts

• Collate weekly and monthly payroll data for third party payroll processing

• Development of financial controls

• Maintenance and reconciliation of the balance sheet including fixed asset registers

• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns and annual P11Ds and PSA returns to HMRC

• Working with Excel and Dynamics 365

The Management Accountant Candidate:

• Experience in a similar role

• Any industry background

• Holds a relevant accountancy qualification

• Excel experience
