Job Description

This opportunity is to join the firm-wide ISO 20022 program which is led by Global Clearing Product, to meet industry wide milestones in standardising global financial messaging. The Payments Operations workstream is one of three key workstreams, alongside product and technology. The market wide strategic improvement to financial messaging and use of the Swift ISO 20022 standard will improve the quality, timeliness and transparency of all payment data, enabling quicker, more secure transactions, greater product integration, improved straight through processing and a decrease in breaks and investigations.

As a Product Delivery Associate within the Transformation Design & Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Corporate Investment Banking transformation, change programs, and platforms under the Payment Operations organization. You will be tasked with promoting initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with stringent timelines. Furthermore, your focus will be on identifying opportunities for innovation across products and lines of business, bringing the organization together to define broader-reaching solutions and builds.

Job responsibilities
  • Coordinate Project execution for Operations planning, prioritization and readiness in line with the Swift ISO20022 market go-live roadmap
  • Identify 'as is' processes, change requirements, business requirements and resourcing in support of Business Analysts and technology Subject Matter Experts
  • Test planning, execution and reporting in support of the User Acceptance Testing team
  • Identify and propose improvement opportunities
  • Collect data, analysis and reporting
  • Provide resourcing and capability analysis across Payment Operations to support functional leads, including impact analysis for change board discussions
  • Lead independent initiatives working across functional teams and lines of business


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in Banking / Financial Services
  • Knowledgeable of banking functions, specifically, in one or more of the following areas: Core Cash Processing or Global Financial Messaging
  • Project Management experience - Execution focused, tenacious and risk aware, with excellent time management skillset
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strategic thinker with ability to define future state business model and drive execution to that effect
  • Promotes partnership; encourages collaboration, information sharing and discussion to break down silos
  • Builds/promotes a client/customer centered organization


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong Payments knowledge and / or prior experience in driving large scale strategic projects
  • Knowledge of end-to-end technology lifecycles and release patterns
  • Adaptable, able to work globally, across lines of businesses and particularly across function
  • Experience in designing, delivering & presenting executive level content
