The Global Mobility Specialist is an integral part of Lathams Global Mobility team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end support provided to international assignees, permanent transferees, and their families in line with firm policies. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence, and is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Global Mobility Specialist is an integral part of Lathams Global Mobility team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end support provided to international assignees, permanent transferees, and their families in line with firm policies. Other key responsibilities include:
- Managing assignment and transfer relocation expenses by tracking and approving allowances to ensure that they are in compliance with assignment letters and firm policies; gathering documentation from the assignee which supports the allowance to be paid
- Assessing the immigration requirements per country and initiating the appropriate immigration vendor, if required
- Determining the amount of income to be imputed into the assignees income based on monthly general ledger reports and coordinating payment with payroll; reviewing the journal entries to ensure accuracy
- Consolidating and reconciling the general ledger and expatriate tax account on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining productive relationships with external third-party vendors, ensuring high performance, excellent service delivery, and invoicing accuracy

And have:
- Experience of working within an in-house Global Mobility team
- Knowledge of UK immigration
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent
