Position: Finance Reconciliation Analyst (German Speaking)
Length: Starting ASAP and running for 3-6 months (with possible extension)
Training: Mandatory on-site and training in Leeds for initial 3 days (expenses paid)
Location:
Remote (except for occasional days onsite in Leeds on clients request, expenses to be paid)
Rate: See below rate ranges, pay rate will depend on experience
Equivalent Annual
Salary:
£40,852.80 - £61,148.89
Agreed Contractor Rate: £157.13 - £235.19 (Post deduction of all employer costs)
Traditional Day Rate Equivalent: £200 - £300
You will be paid via PAYE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for finance specialists to join Deloitte as a part of an experienced team working with one of our financial services clients. As a Finance Analyst you will provide financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling balance sheets according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities include:
• Bank reconciliations; verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance sheets
• Analyse large datasets within Excel and SAP
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies, working with broader teams
• Work within quality and compliance frameworks
• Analyse current processes and recommend improvements
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree and preferably with at least 2 years’ experience with bank reconciliations
• Prior experience with SAP
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in German
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
• General math skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerised accounting and spreadsheet programs
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Excellent data entry skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, a critical thinker
• Ability to work independently or as a team member
