Supervisor - Global Business Solutions

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with previous supervisory experience preferred. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of trainees ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and accounting services to our clients.



Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of accounting specialists, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Review and approve financial documents, including monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and payroll reports, to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensuring all monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines are met for all service lines.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline workflows and improve efficiency within the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate other services performed on your client portfolio.
  • Train team members on accounting principles, software systems, and company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor client accounts and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:
  • University degree or AAT qualified. Part qualified/qualified ACCA preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
