  • The role is permanent and full time
  • Can be based anywhere in the UK.

Your future, your role
As a Head of M&A, You'll be:
  • Owning and overseeing all acquisitions end-to-end, from origination through to negotiation, due diligence and completion and onto a growth programme.
  • Bringing a strategic view to lead generation and prioritisation optimising strategic outcomes and value generation.
  • Working collaboratively and manage key internal and external stakeholders throughout the negotiation and purchase process, to ensure a smooth process and maximise success
  • Responsible for and present business cases to the Exec Leadership Team and Board to seek approval and sign-off
  • Building and leading a market-leading team to drive success and performance at pace


Your skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as an M&A professional who has delivered multiple acquisitions end-to-end.
  • Experience as a business leader who has successfully led a function to deliver ambitious commercial results.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams, and oversee multiple transactions at any time
  • Detail-oriented, with proven analytical, numerate and critical thinking skills
  • Strong understanding of deal mechanics and the legal aspects of HoTs, due diligence and SPAs / BPAs able to understand the technical detail and make appropriate decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills able to communicate with impact, present and respond to challenge from Exec and Board level stakeholders.
