Accounts Supervisor | Maidstone, Kent | £40,000
Our client, a successful, well-established business is seeking to recruit a Accounts Supervisor to join their friendly and long-standing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team in a busy role with the potential to take on additional responsibilities.
Management of Accounts team 3 Accounts assistants.
Treasury Management Payment approvals and bank reconciliations.
Monthly Payroll Summarising/Checking/Paying payroll/posting journals and paying CSA/other deductions of Earnings
Processing weekly timesheets allocating costs to correct projects
Maintenance and Management of Fixed Asset register
Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
Creating and managing projects within Sage 200, maintaining correct contract values and contract budgets.
Quarterly VAT returns for 3 companies
Monthly CIS returns and issuing monthly subcontractor statements
National Statistic returns
Skills
Financial experience within a Manufacturing/construction background (desired)
Strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulation
Passionate and confident with continuous improvement ethos
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Excellent IT and financial systems skills
Experience of working in a cost-conscious environment
Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance as required
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Benefits: -
Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
Working hours (8:30 5 Monday Friday)
