The role...
Our financial services division covers banking, payments, insurance, and wealth management. Our analysts usually specialise in one of these areas, but they may be required to cover more than one subsector.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join the insurance team.
Our goal is to maintain and enhance GlobalData’s reputation as a provider of exceptional insight, helping the business decisions of thousands of clients, ranging from start-ups to global blue-chip companies.
Key responsibilities:
-Contribute to an ongoing publication schedule of industry insight through the production of a range of content e.g., market reports, in-depth issue reports, interactive dashboards and analyst briefings.
-Shaping and scoping the story for each content type. This includes conducting primary and secondary research, manipulating data sets to highlight key insights and trends, as well as drawing conclusions from the gathered data.
-Self-proof all work to ensure it is error-free and of high quality.
-Build in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, including key trends and innovations.
-Participate in bespoke deliverables to clients as required by the business.
-Support commercial teams as required.
-Represent the company at conferences / other as required.
Role requirements:
-Educated to degree level.
-Excellent writing skills, with the ability to express complex ideas in a concise manner.
-Detail-oriented and committed to quality.
-Ability to analyse quantitative data and draw trends.
-Excellent time-management and organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
-Effective oral communication skills to support client interactions.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
-Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
-Previous experience in a market research role is desirable.
